TEAMS
REPRESENTING THE MAYFIELD |

In
the 2006/07 NICKO the Mayfield A Team (Peter Lee Captain), who reached round
6 (last 16) in the previous season,
have currently reached round 5. The
Mayfield recently finished 3rd in the Surrey Affiliated team of 8, so failing
to qualify for the GARDEN CITIES regional stage. In
the Surrey Affiliated Club League in 2005/06 Mayfield A (Tim Cook Captain)
won the Central Region and then, represented by Arun Suri, Tony Scouller.
Peter and Margaret Lee came 3rd in the Surrey final. In
2006/07 the A team (Tim Cook Captain) recently won the Central Region again,
with Mayfield B (Roy Smith Captain) likely to finish in 3rd place.
Mayfield C (Ann Madden Captain) will end about midway in Division 2. In
2005/06 Mayfield Alan Bailey & Roy Smith represented the Mayfield in the
Mary Edwards & were placed 2nd. As
far as I am aware other Mayfield players or teams have not had any major
success, though apologies if I have missed some. |
