REPRESENTING THE MAYFIELD |

In
the 2005/06 NICKO the Mayfield A Team (Peter Lee Captain) have currently
reached round 6. The
Mayfield recently finished second in the Surrey Affiliated team of 8, so
failing to qualify for the GARDEN CITIES regional stage. In
the Surrey Affiliated Club League in 2004/05 Mayfield A (Pam Southon Captain)
won the Central Region and then, represented by Liz Phillips, Tim Cook, Peter
and Margaret Lee, won the Surrey final.
In
2005/06 the A team (Tim Cook Captain) beat Ashford in the final match on
April 13th to win the Central Region again. Mayfield C (Ann Madden Captain) only just
failed to win Division 2. In
2004/05 Mayfield (Bernard Pike, Tony Scouller, Arun Suri, Tim Cook) won the
Wanborough Cup, qualifying by winning the Mayfield Teams Cup. This year, in the absence of the winners,
Roger Sugden's runners up team will represent the Mayfield. Other
Mayfield teams have not had any major success. |
